Public bug reported: Gedit trigger an ubuntu high cpu consumption when the mouse is not in the windows of gedit.
gnome-shell ate up 50 % of cpu, while Xorg consumed 20 % of cpu, gedit consumed 30 % of cpu. CPU is not able to cool down, when gedit is opened and the location of mouse is in other applications instead of gedit. If the situation goes on, system will hang. When Gedit is turned off in time, everything goes back to normal.
