Public bug reported: I have two wireles routers, Fonera and Linsys. When I connect to wireless, I get new DNS settings through DHCP.
However, there is a problem how to connect back to wired connection. Unfortunately, there is no way to disconnect from wireless connection, except shutting off wireless networking. But it I do this and fall back to eth0 (wired connection), DNS settings remain the same as were in wireless connection. Another problem is that if I set eth0 and eth1 in roaming mode . only then I see option to connect to VPN networks (I have Open VPN applet installed), but if I turn off roaming mode, this option is not seen - I only see "Manual configuration" if I click to nm-applet. ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- When logging off from wireless network, DNS settings remain the same https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/177410 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
