[Bug 1775283] Re: SRU of LXC 3.0.1 (upstream bugfix release)

[Bug 1775283] Re: SRU of LXC 3.0.1 (upstream bugfix release)
lxc-copy is no longer working for me since this "SRU". Command used: lxc-copy -n bionic-template -N bionic-new -s Gives in strace: ioctl(4, BTRFS_IOC_SNAP_CREATE_V2, {fd=0, flags=0, name="rootfs"}) = -1 EXDEV (Invalid cross-device link) Apparently the "fd=0" is wrong. I guess that commit 9de31d5a1394fd0bed495fa7cde5e625a1d64b48 made this break. Can this SRU be reverted for now? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1775283 Title: SRU of LXC 3.0.1 (upstream bugfix release) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxc/+bug/1775283/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1775283] Re: SRU of LXC 3.0.1 (upstream bugfix release)
Just performed a basic check here with a number of containers running, upgrading and confirming that they're all still running and can be interacted with just fine. Marking as confirmed. ** Tags removed: verification-needed verification-needed-bionic ** Tags added: verification-done verification-done-bionic -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1775283 Title: SRU of LXC 3.0.1 (upstream bugfix release) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxc/+bug/1775283/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1775283] Re: SRU of LXC 3.0.1 (upstream bugfix release)
Hello Stéphane, or anyone else affected, Accepted lxc into bionic-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxc/3.0.1-0ubuntu1~18.04.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository. Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation on how to enable and use -proposed.Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users. If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested and change the tag from verification-needed-bionic to verification-done-bionic. If it does not fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification-failed-bionic. In either case, without details of your testing we will not be able to proceed. Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in advance! ** Changed in: lxc (Ubuntu Bionic) Status: In Progress => Fix Committed ** Tags added: verification-needed verification-needed-bionic -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1775283 Title: SRU of LXC 3.0.1 (upstream bugfix release) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxc/+bug/1775283/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
