Simple job and this has functioned up to ubuntu LTS with previous versions of VLC. What to do: Have an UPNP server in your network, somewhere maybe at localhost. Fire up VLC, wait until in left pane the UPNP appears, than click on it once. In the right panel after short while the UPNP server name shoud appear. Click on that to open the upnp folder structure. Expected behaviour from previous version: Should open the structure down to playable files Is behaviour: Immediate crash on clicking the server name With: eric@athena:~$ vlc VLC media player 3.0.3 Vetinari (revision 3.0.3-1-0-gc2bb759264) [000056491b98d620] main libvlc: VLC wird mit dem Standard-Interface ausgeführt.
