[Bug 179563] Re: uscan: option --user-agent doesn't work properly

2010-03-23 Thread James Vega
As discussed, this was an error in the watch file. The regex is used in
an anchored match against the entire href for HTTP sites, so it needs to
be formed to account for this.

2008-01-24 Thread Adam D. Barratt
Could you define doesn't work in slightly more detail? Admittedly I've
only tried the Debian package, but it seems to work fine for me once I
fixed the watch file :)

Adam

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/debian/temp$ cat watch

Sorry, I meant examples _in the manpage_.

[Bug 179563] Re: uscan: option --user-agent doesn't work properly

2008-01-24 Thread Cesare Falco

I'm really puzzled as your example seems to work. :|

Just FYI, I sometimes received the no matching hrefs for watch line
message, and sometimes not at all. I can't tell how many attempts I
made, with both version mangling and url regexp. I dare say, example
could be more clear. ;)

BTW, unless server configuration has changed, it's obviously my fault so
I apologize for filing a non-existant bug. :(
