[Bug 179563] Re: uscan: option --user-agent doesn't work properly
As discussed, this was an error in the watch file. The regex is used in an anchored match against the entire href for HTTP sites, so it needs to be formed to account for this. ** Changed in: devscripts (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed = Invalid -- uscan: option --user-agent doesn't work properly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/179563 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 179563] Re: uscan: option --user-agent doesn't work properly
Could you define doesn't work in slightly more detail? Admittedly I've only tried the Debian package, but it seems to work fine for me once I fixed the watch file :) Adam [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/debian/temp$ cat watch version=2 http://rbelmont.mameworld.info/?page_id=163 [^]*?sdlmame(\d+)\.zip [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/debian/temp$ uscan --user-agent Debian uscan --watchfile=./watch --package=sdlmame --upstream-version=0110 sdlmame: Newer version (0122) available on remote site: http://rbelmont.mameworld.info/sdlmame0122.zip (local version is 0110) Not downloading as --package was used. [Bug 179563] Re: uscan: option --user-agent doesn't work properly
I'm really puzzled as your example seems to work. :| Just FYI, I sometimes received the no matching hrefs for watch line message, and sometimes not at all. I can't tell how many attempts I made, with both version mangling and url regexp. I dare say, example could be more clear. ;) BTW, unless server configuration has changed, it's obviously my fault so I apologize for filing a non-existant bug. :( -- uscan: option --user-agent doesn't work properly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/179563 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
