The gnome-calculator new SRU is including the fix needed to build with the new vala. Ok, I see that there is a new gnome-calculator in the archive, so I assume the build failure was some red herring? Seems the SRU makes gnome-calculator fail to rebuild. I have done mass-rebuild (with 0.40.11) as can be seen in the bug description. (I have deleted the dedicated PPA some time ago). Of course this was outdated given the age of this bug report. This looks like there's a bit more than only bugfixes in here. I'm not averse to accepting it, but what testing will be/has been done on this vala? Vala is the sort of package where we'd only see a problem caused by this upload when updating something else, and it would not be obvious what caused it.
