Are you sure you installed the package from the default Ubuntu repository? I'm maintaining fs-uae in Debian and the package gets imported to Ubuntu automatically. I don't see the issue you are reporting here. running pip3 install lhafile removed the warning about lhafile, but the program still fails to start.
