It seems to be related to nvidia drivers. The previous behavior was
described for nvidia-driver-390. After upgrading to nvidia-driver-415 it
is observed the same behavior as in
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1803179. (the
laptop freeze in sleep mode)
The only workaround which works is to use kernel parameters acpi_osi=!
acpi_osi=\"Windows 2009\", but that disables the touchpad.
