Could you please provide a log file to the authentication failure? Which version of OpenSSH works? ** Changed in: openssh (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1816361 Title: remote ssh-login impossible with openssh 7.2p2-4ubuntu2.7 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openssh/+bug/1816361/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 1816361] Re: remote ssh-login impossible with openssh 7.2p2-4ubuntu2.7
Older kernels do not matter. Same effect. Cant login remote. If I use an older sshd it works. If I use a self compiled sshd (same version) it works. [Bug 1816361] Re: remote ssh-login impossible with openssh 7.2p2-4ubuntu2.7
This might be related to dhcp configuration not korrektly interpreted: the dhcp-servers address is taken for the client address, which leads to duplicate addresses: dhcp-server: 172.18.8.186 dhcp-response: 172.18.8.111 clients takes 172.18.8.186 for his address instead of 172.18.8.111 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1816361 Title: remote ssh-login impossible with openssh 7.2p2-4ubuntu2.7 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openssh/+bug/1816361/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
