The workaround above (gfx.webrender.all = true) does help a bit, but does not fully solve the issue. This doesn't appear to be specific to a certain family of graphics drivers. I can observe the issue here with Intel GFX, on X11. I can confirm it on Ubuntu 18.04, Firefox 67.0.4, NVidia video drivers, with any theme. Interestingly enough, the corners are shown correctly when I start Firefox from a Slack link.
