Your Ubuntu version is EOL on the desktop. Can you reproduce this error with a supported Ubuntu version? Exactly. It happened here too when I told it not be fullscreen anymore. ** Changed in: supertux (Ubuntu) Status: New = Confirmed -- supertux2 crashed with SIGSEGV https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/183419 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 183419] Re: supertux2 crashed with SIGSEGV
Indeed it is. Thanks to the stacktrace, I can see where the pointer went null but have no idea how that code path could've been taken. It'd be kinda painful to check every foo-bar reference for nullness, or even what to do when that happens. Maybe this should be forwarded upstream, since it's a development version and they'd be more interested about this crasher? Judging from the stacktrace, it seems like you were toggling the fullsceen option which caused this. -- supertux2 crashed with SIGSEGV https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/183419 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 183419] Re: supertux2 crashed with SIGSEGV
not really. but this is why we have stacktraces. stacktraces can be used by the developers to figure out what went wrong. stacktraces are used to find out the cause of those once in a million crashers. ** Changed in: supertux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = New -- supertux2 crashed with SIGSEGV https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/183419 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
