Public bug reported: I tried connecting to a fortinet VPN, with the right hostname, port, username, password. The wifi icon flashed a bit, and then I was not connected to the VPN, with no message as to why.
Following https://serverfault.com/a/922767/104546 I found out I needed to trust a certificate, adding that in the Advanced GUI let me connect, but preferably the GUI should have popped up a question on connection failure asking me whether I wanted to trust the certificate. ** Affects: network-manager-fortisslvpn (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1842035 Title: no indication of what caused connection failure (missing trusted cert) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager-fortisslvpn/+bug/1842035/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
