I just tried Linux 5.5.2-1 on Manjaro. Squeaky sound is still there. Today I've tested a little bit with that kernel v5.5-rc5 and the creepy sound seems to be disappeared. Yes, still present. I got the same problem with Kubuntu 19.10 up to date.
