i confirm this. ~$ kontact kontact: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libkmailprivate.so: undefined symbol: fstat64 ERROR: Communication problem with kontact, it probably crashed. the same is with kmail. after recent update. 2.6.24-2-generic - hardy alpha2.
