Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kdebase
I have installed a commercial OpenType font (Adobe Garamond Premier Pro) on my system using the KDE System Settings | Appearance | Font Installer. The font files were installed in ~/.fonts . The font is available to display in applications. Set as the default font in Konqueror, web pages are rendered correctly on-screen using this font. However, if I try to print (I have tried printing to a local PDF or to a network printer), the resulting file/printout has the font substituted with another. The same behaviour occurs when using KWord. However, If I try this same experiment with Firefox (which does not use the KDE Print system), the font appears correctly in the output. ** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- KDE Print substitutes fonts which are available on system https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/185105 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for kdebase in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
