i use ubuntu 8.04 lts, installed bootchart, editted Grub so bootchart would do it´s thing but all it does is drop me to a busybox (couldn find /sbin/bootchart). 6-03-0ubuntu2 did not fix the issue, what I did was remove 6-04-0ubuntu2 and I also removed all kernels except 1 kernel and removed bootchart, then reinstalled, and it does not log to /var/log/bootchart/* Here is my apt-cache policy sun-java6-bin sun-java6-bin: Installed: 6-03-0ubuntu2 Candidate: 6-04-2 Version table: 6-04-2 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com hardy/multiverse Packages *** 6-03-0ubuntu2 0 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status Any idea why I cannot get this started?
