[Bug 185529] Re: [Hardy] No filesystem drive in "Computer"

2008-02-06 Thread miked
I have moved to Hardy Heron Alpha 4 via fresh install from Live CD.
after trying a
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# sudo apt-get remove libselinux1
as suggested by someone to fix another constantly crashing program.
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/poker-network/+bug/95836/comments/11
nothing really worked on my computer after that, so I had to re-install, so I
put the new Alpha 4 on here.
So I guess you can close the bug as it relates to me, for now, and I will file
if it happens again.
thanks

[Bug 185529] Re: [Hardy] No filesystem drive in "Computer"

2008-02-04 Thread Eli L
I have no SCSI HDD. But last time I checked after installing some
updates the SCSI drive icon is gone and there was nothing there. But the
"filesystem" icon was still gone. But I had too many problems with hardy
so I installed gutsy over it.

2008-02-04 Thread Caroline Ford
Do you have a SCSI drive in your machine?

I get no file system drive, but no SCSI drive either. I get a CD-ROM
drive that you can click on (but doesn't do anything) but that's a
different bug connected to how it treats empty CD drives.
