The linux-modules were already installed. Sorry, this was a typo, it should have been "does not appear with 5.3.0-24-lowlatency". I edited it in the initial report. Unfortunately also the detailed problem on askubuntu has been deleted by a moderator so here is a description of the behaviour under 5.3.0-26-lowlatency: In alsamixer the card is being recognized as "Fast Track C400" but with no "Chip" information and the message "This sound device does not have any controls". I checked already different USB2-ports, as well as testing with another sound interface of the same model.
