This is concerning. My first thought is: There are technically multiple bugs being reported here. If they have different causes then that can mean it's difficult to declare the lot resolved. My second thought is that gnome-shell hasn't yet been upgraded in focal. It's the same series as is in eoan so in theory we should be able to reproduce this by upgrading to just eoan. The remaining Alt-Tab issue seems to be caused by your system settings: b'org.gnome.desktop.wm.keybindings' b'switch-windows' b"['disabled']" b'org.gnome.desktop.wm.keybindings' b'switch-windows-backward' b"['disabled']" So you can fix that via the GUI in Settings > Devices > Keyboard Shortcuts.
