Public bug reported:

I am currently working on ubuntu 20.04 server
when username contain a dot, systemd show warning.

how to test :

useradd u.user
su - u.user

Output : 
Creating directory '/home/u.user'.
Bad user or group name "u.user", accepting for compatibility.

In my real life, i have this problem with Active Directory groups that
contains a dot.
