Public bug reported:

I am the author of notcurses, a character graphics/TUI library with deep
Unicode support, 24-bit TrueColor, and multithreading safety. I recently
packaged it for Debian, and it was accepted into Debian Unstable
yesterday evening. The Debian ITP bug is here:

 https://bugs.debian.org/950492

License: Apache 2.0
Description: Character graphics and TUI library
notcurses facilitates the creation of modern TUI programs, making full use of
Unicode and 24-bit TrueColor. Its API is similar to that of NCURSES, but
extends that with z-buffering, rendering of images and video using ffmpeg,
alpha blending, widgets, palette fades, resize awareness, and multithreading
 support.

Notes: I know I missed the Focal DIF by months, and the UI freeze by weeks. I
have no expectations that this will get into Focal, but that would certainly be
nice. If not, it goes into the next one, no problem.

I am happy to provide assistance directly to Ubuntu in any capacity it
might be needed, and intend to closely support Notcurses for the
foreseeable future.
