I'm adding too what gets dumped to the .xsession-errors when adding a new keyboard layout in the keyboard capplet, that as pointed before is the only way to get the keyboard working again after the session login. hi, I'm using hardy with last gnome-session, that is, 2.21.90-0ubuntu2 I'm attaching my .xsession-errors.
