Public bug reported: After qgis was uninstalled during the upgrade 19.10 -> 20.04 ( see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release- upgrader/+bug/1889030 ) I tried to reinstall it with `sudo apt-get install qgis` from ubuntu repos (not qgis repos).
The following is the output of apt-get: [sudo] password for user: Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: qgis : Depends: python3-qgis (= 3.10.4+dfsg-1ubuntu2) but it is not going to be installed Depends: qgis-common (= 3.10.4+dfsg-1ubuntu2) but 1:3.14.1+31eoan is to be installed Depends: qgis-providers (= 3.10.4+dfsg-1ubuntu2) but it is not going to be installed Depends: libgdal26 (>= 2.3.0) but it is not going to be installed Depends: libqgis-analysis3.10.4 (>= 3.10.2) but it is not going to be installed Depends: libqgis-app3.10.4 (>= 3.4.9) but it is not going to be installed Depends: libqgis-core3.10.4 (>= 3.10.4) but it is not going to be installed Depends: libqgis-gui3.10.4 (>= 3.10.2) but it is not going to be installed Recommends: qgis-plugin-grass but it is not going to be installed E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages. I'm not sure, if this is a problem caused by the upgrade. All the "Depends" look to me like a general "package dependencies are not properly configured" problem. > E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages. Sounds like the upgrade process destroyed something.
