Yep, can confirm fix made. Repeated a i386 Lubuntu bionic (daily) install, and I could select/deselect updates, plus the map now shows melbourne/AU instead of ny/ny. Thank you. This has been fixed on server side and should be on all the releases. The issue is that http://start.ubuntu.com/connectivity-check.html returns a 404.
