This bug was fixed in the package tenshi - 0.4-1.3ubuntu1 --- tenshi (0.4-1.3ubuntu1) hardy; urgency=low * debian/init.d: create /var/run/tenshi when tenshi is started if it does not exist. Needed as /var/run is tmpfs (LP: #189623). Daniel, Thanks for the reply. Right now, I don't have the time to do anything more on this -- it's working on my system, and I passed on the fix. If things ever ease up a bit, I may take the time to do the whole sponsership rigamarole. I hope a fix to a real problem doesn't get held up by my schedule.
