Upon installing a new application the list in "show applications" is not
updated and just added at the end (last page). The list is also not
sorted. When first installing Ubuntu 20.10, I could get the list updated
by logging in and out, but after installing about 10 applications that
stopped working.

  In "show applications" the applications are not sorted alphabetically
