[Bug 190831] Re: Amd64 CPUThrottled by half with powernowd
This is not an appropriate way to declare a package "obsolete". If you think a package should not be used, file a bug to get it removed from the archive and *then* invalidate the bugs. ** Changed in: powernowd (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => New -- Amd64 CPUThrottled by half with powernowd https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/190831 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 190831] Re: Amd64 CPUThrottled by half with powernowd
The powernowd package is obsolete, please do not use it. CPU frequency scaling is now handled by the kernel, so if you still have issues on a modern release, file a bug against the linux package. ** Changed in: powernowd (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- Amd64 CPUThrottled by half with powernowd https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/190831 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 190831] Re: Amd64 CPUThrottled by half with powernowd
cpudyn manage dynamically steps (looking at powertop), but cpu is goodly activated 1600Mhz by default. Under powertop, with powerd it was at 800MHz 100% (half speed). -- Amd64 CPUThrottled by half with powernowd https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/190831 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
