Public bug reported:

I used the "eject" contextual menu on the icon of a blank Bluray-R on
the caja desktop, and I got a message saying that I need to wait for
data to be written on the disc before being able to remove it safely
(same message as when trying to eject an usb stick, when some data
syncing is left to be done).

Afterwards, when I tried to burn data to it, the app (k3b) told that the
disc was not empty thus not writeable.

This bug cost me a brand new Bluray-R M-Disc of 100GB, which is a quite
pricey medium.
