[Bug 191764] Re: firefox2 removed
Thanks for your report. FF3 doesn't need to be in production quality state; Ubuntu 8.04 is still under development, and so is FF3. Default inclusion will allow wider testing. If you need a working browser, you can use FF2 in a stable release. Please report any bugs that you encounter with FF3. ** Changed in: firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu) Status: New = Won't Fix -- firefox2 removed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/191764 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 191764] Re: firefox2 removed
ack, anyway, part of the plan is to upload firefox 2 with a different package name and demote that to universe. Its not encouraged to use that package though, but we understand that there are people that still need it. So stay tuned. -- firefox2 removed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/191764 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

fair enough - I was concerned that the option wasn't going to be there when hardy was released more than anything (possible that FF3 is good enough by then, but I'm not sure that's going to be true). -- firefox2 removed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/191764 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
