I do use X11. Some additional information, it appears to affect only X-Server not Wayland. I just tested it in Wayland and here alt+tab works correctly and also the touchpad is back to normal. @benshalom do you use also X11 as default? I can second this exact issue. Perhaps related to this, my touchpad settings (tab to click and edge scrolling) are not working.
