[Bug 1918253] Re: WWAN I XMM 7360 LTE-Advanced (Cat 9) doesn't work [8086:7360]
The modem based on Intel XMM7360 can support both PCI and USB mode, the HP's UEFI does not support switching the model to USB mode. The WWAN suspend D state is D2 instead of D3, under windows. The WWAN under PCI will block suspend-to-idle on Linux. Canonical CE team planned not to fix this issue. A workaround has been proposed https://lkml.org/lkml/2021/3/24/489 ** Changed in: oem-priority Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: oem-priority Importance: Low => Wishlist ** Description changed: There is no driver for it [8086:7360] when using 5.10 kernel. $ lspci -nnv -s 55:00.0 55:00.0 Wireless controller [0d40]: Intel Corporation XMM7360 LTE Advanced Modem [8086:7360] (rev 01) - Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company XMM7360 LTE Advanced Modem [103c:8337] - Flags: fast devsel, IRQ 255 - Memory at 6e40 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [disabled] [size=4K] - Memory at 6e401000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [disabled] [size=1K] - Capabilities: + Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company XMM7360 LTE Advanced Modem [103c:8337] + Flags: fast devsel, IRQ 255 + Memory at 6e40 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [disabled] [size=4K] + Memory at 6e401000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [disabled] [size=1K] + Capabilities: -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1918253 Title: WWAN I XMM 7360 LTE-Advanced (Cat 9) doesn't work [8086:7360] To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/oem-priority/+bug/1918253/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
