Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue
for you? Thanks in advance.

[Bug 192474] Re: gnome-terminal crashed with SIGSEGV in pthread_mutex_lock()

2008-06-26 Thread Meister Krause
Crazy:
First i asked a friend and he was able reproduce this bug under Gnome/Debian.
Open 3 gnome-terminals, Edit Current Profile, try to edit Profile Name ... all
terminals close themselves

Then I tried the backtrace (with my ubuntu machine) which did not work
for the first trial (because the terminal I started the backtrace from
was also a gnome-terminal and closed itself as well).

Then I did the same from an xterm, but now: the bug is gone for me!
I can not reproduce it anymore! This is weird. That thing repaired itself.

Any idea what happened?

Thanks

Ok, I will do that!
It's a really funny bug and it's reproducible...
