[Bug 192819] Re: left clicking user switcher dropdown causes crash
I am running a Buffalo G PCMCIA wireless card which also uses the Broadcom drivers. I, with a fresh install of Hardy, get the same behavior as the OP. The output from dmesg is: [ 390.486921] b43-phy0 ERROR: Firmware file b43/ucode5.fw not found or load failed. [ 390.486938] b43-phy0 ERROR: You must go to http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/b43#devicefirmware and download the correct firmware (version 4). [Bug 192819] Re: left clicking user switcher dropdown causes crash
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a .crash file. Please follow these instuctions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop environment - launch nautilus and navigate to your /var/crash directory and double click on the crash report you wish to submit. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and understanding. ** Changed in: fast-user-switch-applet (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- left clicking user switcher dropdown causes crash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/192819 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
