[Bug 1936746] Re: Segmentation fault on 21.04 Hirsute Hippo
Sounds great. I've also verified that tuxmath 2.0.3-8 runs as expected on Ubuntu Impish. Based on that and the resolved Debian report, we can say this has been fixed. If anyone needs a fix for this bug in older Ubuntu releases, please perform as much as possible of the SRU Procedure [1] to bring the need to a developer's attention. Re: [Bug 1936746] Re: Segmentation fault on 21.04 Hirsute Hippo
Thank you very much Joachim for the valuable guidance. Next time I will use ubuntu-bug. However, for this bug I found a trick, that is, to install tuxmath package from the next Ubuntu release, Impish Indri. It works on Hirsute without issues I reported above. [Bug 1936746] Re: Segmentation fault on 21.04 Hirsute Hippo
Thanks for taking your time to report this issue and help making Ubuntu better. I can confirm the segmentation fault on 21.04. I've also found a corresponding Debian bug, and have attached a bug watch. Btw, when reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. This automatically adds information like version numbers and Ubuntu release. You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs. ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #986623 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=986623 ** Also affects: tuxmath (Debian) via https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=986623 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Changed in: tuxmath (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Tags added: hirsute -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1936746 Title: Segmentation fault on 21.04 Hirsute Hippo To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tuxmath/+bug/1936746/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
