In Xubuntu Hardy, when I insert an audio-CD, Totem comes up but says it "can't
find cdda:". The CD-drive doesn't show up on the desktop or somewhere in the
file system. It's evidently not mounted, because the CD-drive can immediately
open when I push its button.
When I insert the same audio-CD's in Gutsy, Totem also comes up BUT it can play
the CD and the CD-drive appears at the desktop. So there must be something
wrong in Hardy.
