[Bug 193798] Re: Audio-CD is not recognised
Which version of Hardy is this in? If you haven't tested it in Alpha 5 yet, please do so. Also, when you insert the audio CD and Totem opens, can you check your file manager to see if the disk appears in media:/ ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New = Incomplete -- [Hardy] Audio-CD is not recognised https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/193798 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 193798] Re: Audio-CD is not recognised
Today, I upgraded (must be an upgrade to Alpha5). The problem is still there: I put the CD in the drive, Totem appears and can't open cdda:. When I rightclick on the item cdda: in the Totem playlist and choose Copy location and paste that in an editor, I get: file:///home/myname/cdda%3A/ So Totem thinks the CD is mounted in my home directory?! In the file manager, I can't find it in my home directory. In /media, there are two CD-directories: cdrom (which is a symlink) and cdrom0. But those are empty and are present when the CD is not in the drive as well. -- Audio-CD is not recognised https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/193798 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
