I would settle for a console command that install VNC and makes sure it starts on boot, before the login manager and stays running even if it crashes or some for some random reason. Unfortunately it's not as simple as "apt install vnc" for some obscure historical reason Also it would be great if instead of VNC, there was a way to do the same thing but with the new level of performance expect by the likes of nvidia gamestream / steam steamlink and wireless displays like WiDi and MS-MICE. It's clearly the future of remote control of desktop, but the future isn't on linux yet ! For sshd, at least that should be as easy as sudo apt install sshd ; rc- update add sshd default or whatever the current syntax is to add services to boot.
