Can you attach your xorg.conf? Also, make sure you are using the very latest intel driver on hardy and have restarted X after installing it. When you say that compiz has bad performance, could you please provide some info to back this up. Hi no problem here comes the logs. I have problems even I switch off almost all components (previously it was fast even all were on). The worst thing is when I start Fire Fox (3.0b3 - from repository). For sure I working only on original repository list. Hope this helps. Hi guys sory for delay I see it`s running on xserver-xorg-video-intel (2:2.2.0.90-2ubuntu7) also tried 915resolution but It was not possible to start effects. So now I will try back to ubuntu2. I can confirm this bug. The system slows down greatly and becomes unusable when I run compiz. I switched back to Metacity for the moment as I don't have time to trace this bug.
