I've repeated the same install as this bug report is about using the same partition; thus overwriting the Lubuntu impish install in comment #14. - hp dc7700 (c2d-e6320, 5gb, nvidia quadro nvs 290) ie. using sda5 as / with no-format At near 2 hours into install; dmesg is showing the same results [ 6994.615914] sda: sda1 sda2 sda3 sda4 < sda5 > endlessly with only the timecode changing...
