Ubuntu 7.10 is in End of Life status, as well it and sensors-applet have
gone through numerous updates. Please update and repost findings.

Can you provide more information as to when the crash happened - ie. did
it happen at start-up, or after sensors-applet had been running for a
while etc?

It happened at startup (after login). Unfortunately, I don't know how
to attach all the apport traces to an existing bug.
