Public bug reported:
There are reported bugs about ssh connection being slow and users were
complaining about slow LOGIN. The problem I'm reporting is not duplicate of
slow LOGIN.
I'm using Ubuntu 7.10 - I'm not reporting a source package name since I'm not
sure the source of the problem.
When I login with ssh [EMAIL PROTECTED] to a remote host. I experience slow
login time AND, IN ADDITION the responsiveness in terminal is horrible. When I
type a character I need to wait 2-3 seconds to see it in terminal. This
observation is valid when I connect to a Ubuntu Server machine or a server with
Red Hat installation. So, I'm guessing it's problem in my system.
Anybody noticed this problem?
