Hi, marking this as Wont Fix. We want to leave people with the option to
not have tomboy running all the time and to be able to launch it
themselves.

isn't added to the panel by default it's hard for users to know it
exists in the default install.

2009-07-15 Thread Iain Lane
Hi, marking this as Wont Fix. We want to leave people with the option to
not have tomboy running all the time and to be able to launch it
themselves.

2008-04-01 Thread antistress
Bug 525523 – Add an "add applets to panel" entry in System>Preferences menu for
discoverability purpose
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=525523

Now we can focus on the present bug concerning the duplicate Tomboy menu
entry in Ubuntu...

Besides Tomboy in Applications>accessories menu doesn't start
automatically with GNOME session, whereas Tomboy applet does

I agree. I suppose the problem is discoverability, though.. if Tomboy
isn't added to the panel by default it's hard for users to know it
exists in the default install.
