[Bug 201352] Re: [HARDY) X crash intel i915
I guess it is the best to get a backtrace https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingXorg of the crash. The hardware state message isn't so rare according to some searches. Btw. please make sure that you have all updates installed. @ar Could you please attach your data too and create a backtrace? ** Summary changed: - [HARDY) X crash intel i915 + [HARDY] X crashes randomly (i915) -- [HARDY] X crashes randomly (i915) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/201352 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 201352] Re: [HARDY) X crash intel i915
This looks like a hardware issue. Could you please choose at boot memory test and let it run. If you got errors there is a serious hardware problem like corrupted mem or something like that. Do you have another operating system to recheck if this problem happens too? Which Ubuntu version do you use and could you please attach the output of 'lspci -vvnn' in a file? ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- [HARDY) X crash intel i915 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/201352 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 201352] Re: [HARDY] X crash intel i915

[Bug 201352] Re: [HARDY) X crash intel i915
With Gusty there is still no Problem. Okay the problem is, i can't reproduce this failure, sometimes it happens between switching applications in the taskbar, or only touch to the touchpad :/ 1. ctrl+alt+f1 works for 10 seconds, then the console is blank too! 2. ctrl+alt+backspace doesn't work 3. Blank screen, no mouse 4. yes, the keyboard is working there is only one way, switch to console and press ctrl+alt+del to reboot the system. ** Attachment added: xorg-video-intel-bug-files.tar.gz http://launchpadlibrarian.net/12615612/xorg-video-intel-bug-files.tar.gz -- [HARDY) X crash intel i915 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/201352 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
