I hope so, yes. I've used the "lazy way" for now and asked ScottK for sync. If it will not work, I'll request for sync. in a more official way but first I will need to search in docs if it still needs some kind of exception for Hardy (I released it as new Debian revision to avoid "new upstream"). Griffith is checking for xml module since we want it to be python2.3 compatible.
