Pascal, where do you see the ppd for B4350 is included in openprinting- ppds? I see only the 4300 driver, which the submitter stated was incompatible. Anyway, the problem certainly isn't openprinting-ppds being absent from ubuntu-desktop, which was the rationale given for milestoning this bug. That's weird! Colin, you are right. The openprinting-ppds package is already a dependency of ubuntu-desktop. UbuntuSucks, on a default desktop installation the packages openprinting-ppds and ubuntu-desktop should be installed. Er, but it *is* part of desktop-common (which is inherited by desktop): desktop-common: * openprinting-ppds# Most common drivers we want in desktop; less common are in o-p-extra ... and indeed you can still see it in ubuntu-desktop's dependencies.
