This bug was fixed in the package oem-config - 1.32 --- oem-config (1.32) hardy; urgency=low [ Evan Dandrea ] * Use a GtkEventBox rather than a GtkScrolledWindow for the tzmap to match ubiquity (LP: #198179) * Port changes to zoommap.py from ubiquity: - Use a black border around tzmap points to assist the visually impaired. - Flash the currently selected location on the tzmap so that it's easier to spot. - When clicking on the tzmap, if the closest match is already selected, take the next closest. - Place the tzmap in an AspectFrame so it doesn't look distorted on widescreen displays (LP: #200152). * Center the oem-config window to match ubiquity. * Port fix for correctly answering the countrychooser/country-name question from ubiquity (was LP #174937) (LP: #203648). * Automatic update of included source packages: localechooser 1.42ubuntu3. I believe I fixed this, but we're in freeze for the beta, so it will be a little bit before the fix is on the CDs. This is using ubiquity 1.7.2 (!), which is an ancient version of ubiquity. I thought this bug was long since fixed. In fact, although there have been problems with the DVD live filesystem builds which I'm going to sort out, this is a considerably older version of ubiquity than our records indicate was on the DVD from the 15th of March. I suggest you check that you're downloading the right thing. I also tried to perform an OEM-installation using the alternative CD for latest Hardy alpha. The OEM-installation went fine, but when the system restarted and the oem-configurator was run, it freezed again on the Choose Language screen. Rebooting the computer and trying different languages does not help.
