Upstream support for Firefox 3.0 ended after the release of Firefox 3.0.19 on March 30, 2010. Support for Ubuntu 8.04 "Hardy Heron" ended on 12 May 2011 for desktops, and I doubt anyone is running Firefox on a server. Hello everybody! The bug I reported is #216354, which was a crash of Firefox when trying to submit a .crash report. I do not have any crash report in /var/crash, and therefore I cannot try with the latest Firefox version, which is the one I use. By the way, seems to me that Firefox Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008121621 Ubuntu/8.04 (hardy) Firefox/3.0.5 works well and is quite stable.
