[Bug 205065] Re: package broken and not updating

2008-04-05 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker
This bug was fixed in the package amule - 2.2.0~svn20080218-0ubuntu3

---
amule (2.2.0~svn20080218-0ubuntu3) hardy; urgency=low

  * debian/amule-daemon.init:
- Apply the fix from Debian #461774, fixes amule-daemon not stopping
  sanely. LP: #205065.
  * debian/control:
- Do not build-depend on libupnp-dev as the headers needed are shipped
  by upstream and not used from the system, and make amule depend on
  libupnp2 as it uses dlopen() to call the library.
  Changes taken from the Debian package, thanks to Adeodato Simó
  for letting me know about this.

[Bug 205065] Re: package broken and not updating

2008-04-03 Thread Emilio Pozuelo Monfort
This looks like Debian #461774, I'll confirm it as I could reproduce
this and upload the fix if it's the same bug.

[Bug 205065] Re: package broken and not updating

2008-03-29 Thread Alexander
a workaround worked for me: I have deleted the /var/lib/dpkg/info/amule-
daemon.postrm and preinst-scripts, purged amule* and then reinstalled
amule. now it's working.

[Bug 205065] Re: package broken and not updating

2008-03-23 Thread Alexander
"invoke-rc.d amule-daemon stop" always fails (same with old version
2.1.3) and I'm not sure how to fix it because I don't know what exactly
it does. so here is a higher debug-level:

uninstalling and purging is not possible too so that I could reinstall it
cleanly:

 reinstall it before attempting a removal.
