Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

I'm using Ubuntu Hardy Heron Beta updated to the latest packages. Don't know
why, but at firsts boots it detected the screen resolution flawlessly, but
today, after rebooting the computer it falled back to 640x480 resolution.
Restarting the X server did not work. I had to manually change the monitor type
with the Screens and Graphics tool (Applications->System Tools->Screens and
Graphics) to my correct LCD panel type, the "Plug 'n' Play" monitor seems to
don't work any longer.
I'm using the proprietary nVidia driver on AMD64 architecture.
Hardware:
CPU: Core 2 Quad Q6600
Motherboard: ASUS Commando
Memory: 4GB RAM DDR2 800Mhz
VGA: nVidia 8800GTS 320MB
Monitor: TFT-LCD Philips 200WS (20.1 inches) 1680x1050 @ 60Hz

** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
