  Whenever I close GIMP, instead of closing normally it crashes.
  
  This happens only when I close GIMP with an image open. I click Discard
  because I don't want to save the image and GIMP crashes instead of
  closing. If I close and discard the image first, GIMP closes normally.
  
  This happened on both Ubuntu 23.10 and 24.04 beta
